Lawyer specialized in International Food and Drug Law for Latin America countries and Europe. Graduated in Public Health Law by Public Health School, University of São Paulo, Ph.d. in Regulatory European Law on Public Health by Paris VIII, master degree in Biomedical Law by University of Coimbra, Portugal.

Knowledge

​Played an active role in setting up Brazil’s Public Health Regulator (ANVISA), organizing the agenda of its President in the USA in order to explore the US System established through the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in December 1998.  Organized several seminars on Sanitary Surveillance in the USA (Washington, Chicago, Boston, Indianapolis, Orange County,San Diego, San Francisco, New Jersey, Seattle, Miami, etc); Canada (Toronto); Australia (Sydney); France (Paris and Cannes); Indie (Bombay), Argentina (Buenos Aires); Brazil (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Foz de Iguaçu, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Manaus, Goiania, Cuiabá, Campinas, Curitiba, Caxias do Sul, Bragança Paulista, Botucatu, etc.). Headed official missions of sanitary surveillance professionals arranged by the Brazilian, Canadian Governments and US.
